The amount of shingles needed for your roof goes by the square footage. 3 bundles per 100 square feet is the amount of shingles needed for your roof.

Why is there discoloring in my roof?

There is discoloring in your roof because shingles more than 15 years old do not have a copper catalyst. GAF lifetime shingles include a copper catalyst that prevents algae growth and discoloration. Discoloration of your roof is warranted for 25 years.
